Revive your wardrobe this year with the bright and atypical talents of in vogue artist Leigh White. Found in her newest creative medium, the silk necktie, is a bustling world of bright colors, intermingling textures and offbeat humor. This particular tie features her canine friend Luther posing oh-so-modestly atop a vibrant blend of oranges and yellows. Not your typical office affair, but then again, Leigh White is not your typical office employee. Besides, this tie was not crafted for the fuddy-duddies of the world. No, it was crafted for the chic and culturally aware. The snappy dresser who understands style, texture, and above all else - art.
To top it off each necktie is hand numbered (1-100), comes with a signed artist card, and comes in a very nice wooden gift box.

LUTHER
Artist: Leigh White
Year: 2006
Acrylic, cardboard, plywood
My coworker has this great dog named Luther which he brings to the office on Fridays. He is a huge dog and kind of a poser so this painting is based upon a pose he held for 5 minutes that I captured with my camera. The bright colors in the background represent what a lively personality he has. My nickname for him is "shark boy" because he gets a little bitey.
